Meet your candidates

In an effort to help voters get to know the candidates for two open seats on the Lee’s Summit R-7 Board of Eduction, Link 2 Lee’s Summit asked the candidates to respond to a short questionnaire looking into why they chose to run and what issues and opportunities were currently facing the district. What prompted you to run for public office?

In your opinion, what are the biggest issues currently facing the LS R-7 School District? 

Transparency and communication have been hot topics in public conversation concerning the District and its board. If elected, how do you believe you can bolster public trust and better communicate with your constituents. 

What Is the most fulfilling volunteer, board, commission or committee task that you’ve performed in Lee’s Summit during the past three years and why?
