Whether you've been a customer of the downtown district for decades or even just the past year, one constant has always bee the local diner on Third street. Ownership has changed. The name has changed. But the cinnamon rolls, coffee and orders of biscuits and gravy just keep coming.
This week, Neighborhood Cafe owners Tony Olson Ben Wine and Bob Baker invited the community to join them in celebrating their 5th anniversary with helping of free biscuits and gravy. Both the Lee's Summit Journal and the Lee's Summit Tribune offered coverage of the anniversary celebration for this staple of the downtown community.
Ownership has also recently announced plans to open a second location in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City.
