Carl Chinnery, a longtime Lee’s Summit fixture, installed the little library in honor of Brad and Sandy Cox. LSPR hopes the addition of the little library makes Langsford Park more unique, and serves as a marker of gratitude for Chinnery, Brad and Sandy.
“Parks are a great place to play, exercise, and socialize.” Joe Snook, LSPR Interim Administrator, said. “They are also great places to read, and thanks to Carl, reading in Langsford Park is even more convenient.”
Langsford Park is located west of the Todd George/Langsford Road intersection in Lee's Summit, Mo. The little library is at the south end of the park which can be accessed from Southeast Winburn Trail.
