Local CPA expands office & regional reach

Local CPA, Julia E. Hampton, adds Raymore office, new employee

Just ahead of tax season, Lee’s Summit CPA Julia Hampton is taking her tax and financial knowledge to Raymore with the purchase of a portion of Alan R. Jones CPA firm.

Jones owned and operated his firm in Raymore for several years. Hampton is opening the new office inside Community Bank of Raymore, 801 W. Foxwood Dr. At that office, Hampton has announced the hire of veteran accountant Eric Allee.

Eric Allee is joining the Julia E. Hampton, CPA team and serving its new Raymore location.

Allee received his Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1994 and his Masters of Science in Accounting-Taxation in 2001. He passed the CPA exam in 2002, with the sixth highest score in the state of Missouri.

In 2002, after serving as Director of Finance for a large national construction company, Allee decided to focus his professional practice on the area of small business taxation and individual financial advising.  He has 15 years of experience in helping clients save the maximum amount of tax legally possible while achieving their most important financial goals.  Additionally, Allee has owned and operated a popular bar/restaurant for the past five years, which he recently sold to join Julia E. Hampton, CPA, PC full time.

“Eric’s experience has given him a unique insight into the special issues our small business entrepreneur clients face every day,” Hampton said.

The Raymore expansion will offer the same, full-service accounting options as her original location in downtown Lee’s Summit, where Hampton has been in business for 16 years. Allee will handle individual tax preparation, business bookkeeping, taxes and payroll, tax consulting and IRS issues.

“We’ve been looking to expand for a year,” Hampton said. “With the growth and great schools in Raymore, we are thrilled to now be a part of this community.”

Hampton said she saw a need in Raymore and is excited to put her firm’s combined 41 years of accounting experience to work at the new location.

“I am honored that Alan has chosen to transition his clients to my firm,” she said. “Like Alan, I have built my practice on relationships, the highest standards of service and a commitment to the community I serve.”
