R-7 middle schools recognize Students of the Month for March

Lee’s Summit R-7 School District middle schools recently recognized their March Students of the Month. Students of the Month are recognized based on outstanding citizenship, conduct, attitude and school involvement.

Students of the Month from Bernard Campbell Middle School are Cierra Harrison and Benjamin Lampe. At BCMS, Cierra is involved in cross country, is a W.E.B. Cares Leader, basketball, was a student library assistant and student office assistant. Away from school, Cierra enjoys participating in competitive softball, basketball and community service with Harvesters and City Union Mission. At BCMS, Benjamin is involved in Engineering Post. Away from school, Benjamin enjoys soccer and basketball.

Students of the Month from Pleasant Lea Middle School are Lily Aldenderfer and Christian Hess. At PLMS, Lily is involved in cheerleading, choir, musical, awards assembly, student council, Young Authors’ Conference and was a Truman Reader Selector. Away from school, Lily enjoys competitive dance. At PLMS, Christian is involved in wrestling, musical, awards assembly, student council, football, track and W.E.B. Cares. Away from school, Christian enjoys church activities.

Students of the Month from Summit Lakes Middle School are Brooke Techau and Eagan Kirk. At SLMS, Brooke is involved in student council, cheerleading, track and the awards show. Away from school, Brooke enjoys competitive dance. At SLMS, Eagan is involved in student council, and choir. Away from school, Eagan enjoys taekwondo, youth group, trap shooting, dirt biking and his neighborhood swim team.
