The Lee’s Summit Symphony will offer a hint of spring next week during a unique event.
Friends of the symphony will host a Garden Gathering event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23 at The Stanley in downtown Lee’s Summit. During the event, guests will enjoy a delicious brunch provided by Lori Walker Catering, but this Garden Gathering is much more than a meal.
The event will also feature spring fashions, beautiful artistic displays and unique birdhouses on February 23. A limited number of sponsorships and event tickets are available ($45) at www.lssymphony.org.
In anticipation of Spring, models will show warm-weather fashions from Chico’s, Elle & Em Boutique, Jolly’s and Wedding Expressions by Geri. Displays will feature artwork from Got Art Gallery, Jack’s Décor & More, Larry Nigro and Neko Lynn, and there will be a collection of handcrafted birdhouses crafted by John Knox Village Hobby Hut, Lee’s Summit Woodworkers’ Guild and Ralph Hartman to be sold by silent auction.
