Popular course for families with children from birth through age 6 begins April 8
Lee’s Summit CARES will offer a course designed for parents of children from birth through age 6 at Love and Logic Early Childhood: Parenting Made Fun. The five-week course will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays, April 8 through May 6, at Great Beginnings Early Education Center, 905 NE Bluestem, Lee’s Summit.
Participants will learn to establish a positive discipline foundation as well as how to address behavior issues such as arguing, whining, bedtime struggles and picky eaters. In addition, information will be shared about getting children to listen to parents the first time.
Cost for the class is $50, and scholarships are available to qualifying individuals. Participants are encouraged to register by April 7 by visiting this link.
