UCM to host open house events at Missouri Innovation Campus

The University of Central Missouri is partnering with the Full Employment Council (FEC) to help qualifying individuals obtain valuable training for in-demand jobs. Beginning Feb. 26, the FEC will participate in pre-qualifying Open House events in Lee’s Summit to help individuals determine eligibility and apply for scholarships to fund non-semester based certification training as well as some college degree programs.

Students participating in the Missouri Innovation Campus have more opportunities to earn a bachelor’s degree in a high-wage, in-demand field while significantly reducing the time to graduate. LS R-7 Board of Education votes to move forward with Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan, boundary adjustments

At it’s regularly scheduled meeting Thursday, the Lee’s Summit R-7 Board of Education unanimously voted to approve boundary adjustments and move forward with Phase 2 recommendations in the Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan (CFMP) process.
